A big thank you to all the brothers who joined Silver Star members in the
Battle Ground Harvest Festival parade and a special thank you to brother
David Coffing for getting the word out.

 

We still have a lot to do to get the Freemason 'brand' recognized in the
community but these events help.

Brethren,
Please forgive the redundancy if you have already received this info from
another district source.

Silver Star will be conferring a MM degree on Tuesday, September 23rd.
Several brothers from Maine and Massachusetts will be attending and possibly
filling parts of the degree team. It would be great to show support for
Silver Star and give a very hearty welcome and show of fellowship to these
visiting brothers.
If any additional details are needed, please contact myself or Brother Ric
Bishop.

Masters,

I am the new Chairman of the Masonic Awareness Committee's Membership
Committee. The purpose of the committee is to support the efforts of the
lodges in our district to enhance the Masonic experience for their members
and to increase Masonic Awareness in our communities. Ideally, my committee
is made up of brothers representing every lodge in the District, so that we
can share ideas and work together to make every membership activity more
successful. 

 

We would really appreciate your support of this important committee and
would request that you provide the committee with a representative from your
lodge. If you already have a brother responsible for membership, he would
make the obvious choice. By bringing the resources of the entire District
together, we are confident that our members will get even more out of their
Masonic membership and that every male in Southwest Washington will know
what Freemasonry is and what we do.
