Cost is $13.00 per rider for pre - entry and $18.00 day of at the door. Ride date is April 1, 2012. This is a 250 mile poker run for charity supporting the Providence Brain Institute and Vernonia Food Bank. I have sent in my registration and any brothers or group of brothers and their significant s who would enjoy a day out on the scooters supporting these two great causes are more than welcome to ride with me. Start time is 0 dark thirty. Meaning 0530 - 0800 start time. I normally start these runs right at "go" time however I can to allow everyone to meet at the starting point for the run. I can be point of contact or someone else can be if anyone is interested. And just a suggestion - but maybe a sign up sheet at the VMC would be beneficial. I'm also open to other suggestions as well. Astoria, Or also hosts a Brewers festival that weekend and it is a perfect opportunity to take a day drive, 1.5hrs away, to visit with both lodges socially. A tour of their beautiful temple and lunch as well as a chance to help Seaport 7 be seen in the community as Masons. A number of us from Wa. 4 and MH. 32 and others from Dist 19 are already planning to take a day drive. It's social, so wives, ladies and friends are invited to have a great day at the coast. Astoria is a cool town with lots to see and do other than the Brewers Fest. The Masonic Temple is easy to find, Hwy 30 west into Astoria, turn left on 16th and two blocks up on the right, a beautiful white stone building. Can't miss it!
